Eddie Mcknight

Eddie is the Chief Executive Officer of NSHI, LungHealth and SleepHealth Solutions. Eddie has previously established other healthcare companies, notably Magister Consulting, following the sale of which he was named in Who’s who of Britain’s business elite.

Eddie’s business interests include health service design, the provision of UK wide specialist nursing teams and the supply of medical software solutions. Eddie has a particular interest in how healthcare technology products, such as LungHealth decision support software, can be used to deliver guideline level care, reduce healthcare inequality and optimise health outcomes in a resource stretched NHS. These technology solutions in the short to medium term are expected to be utilised on a global basis. The guided consultation products represented British Innovation at the Global Health Expo in Dubai in 2022.

Eddie’s medical interests are focused primarily on respiratory and cardiovascular applications with his teams having supported the management of these patient groups in circa. 6,500 practices and over 30 Trusts in the UK, with resulting publication of various workstreams in peer-reviewed journals.

Current service provision models are focused on both face to face and remote video consultation, with end-to-end service delivery linked directly to GP clinical systems and secondary care.

In his spare time, Eddie enjoys falconry and is a keen sports fan. He particularly enjoys cycling and has completed the Lands End to John O’Groats challenge, raising funds for charity.

Director of Nursing

Michelle O’Driscoll

Prior to joining NSHI in 2017, Michelle qualified as a nurse in 2001 and spent many happy years working as both a cardiology and respiratory nurse within hospitals and a nurse practitioner in general practice.

This experience has made her passionate about both delivering and improving patient care.

Michelle is animal mad and spends much of her free time walking the Norfolk coastline with her beautiful rescue dog Bella. If she’s not out walking, you’ll probably catch her at a VW camper show somewhere in the UK.

Human Resources Director

Michael Lickfold

Michael is the Human Resources Director for NSHI Ltd, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. He has extensive experience in operational and human resource leadership across a range of sectors and markets in the UK, EU and US.

A trusted voice, strategic thinker, and true business partner with leadership experience in staff engagement, culture change, reward, performance development, employee relations, equity, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing.

In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring new places, fishing, and catching up on the latest Ian Rankin Rebus novel.

Mark Osborne

Mark is a Senior Commercial Leader in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience across both speciality brands and generic medicines in the UK, EU & Global markets. A people, customer and patient focused leader with deep expertise in growing top and bottom lines. A proven strategic thinker who is able to articulate and implement strategy in complex, commercial organisations who now brings this knowledge & understanding to NSHI’s customers. 

When not at work, Mark enjoys time with family and friends, travel and exercising his two very energetic Vizslas.

Medical Director

John Haughney

John Haughney has been the Medical Director at NSHI for over 10 years.

In addition, he is a Clinical Director in Research & Innovation at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and a sessional general practitioner. He is an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow and an honorary senior research fellow at the University of Aberdeen.

In the past he has been the chairman of GPIAG / PCRS and president of IPCRG. During some time with NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (now Healthcare Improvement Scotland) John  led the diagnosis section of the BTS / SIGN asthma guideline, helped set up and served on SMC and developed and implemented standards for asthma and COPD care.

Away from work, John plays a lot of golf, provides a taxis service for friends and family and struggles with a long term but mostly unsuccessful diet.

Prior to joining NSHI in 2017, Sam has spent over 20 years working in the pharmaceutical industry as well as selling automation solutions to hospital trusts and retail pharmacies.

Sam’s experiences and knowledge of these health sectors helps him to understand customer’s needs when delivering a number of services across a variety of therapies; including respiratory, spirometry testing, headache and immunisations.

Free time is largely spent outdoors, exploring new places, catching up with family and friends and the odd visit to the local pub……but not always in that order!

Sian Bowe

Sian joined NSHI as an Account Manager in January 2023, having previously worked in the healthcare industry for nearly 26 years, including both clinical and senior management roles. Sian has worked across many therapy areas and throughout her career she has maintained a passion for respiratory disease, so is delighted to have joined NSHI, with its reputation for respiratory excellence.

Sian has been a Registered Nurse for 38+ years and this remains an important part of her professional identity. Sian’s roles may have changed, but the values of integrity, honesty and respect have been fundamental to her whole career pathway.

Outside of work, Sian loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys long walks with her American Cockerpoo ‘Rainbeau’

Account Manager

Richard Bazneh

Richard joined NSHI in 2007 where he managed the successful Medical Publishing side of the business. During this period he helped create a number of educational publications that were used by healthcare professionals worldwide.

He then moved into an account management role within the organisation helping to deliver expert disease guideline nursing services to key stakeholders and the NHS.

Since 2010, Richard has managed the British Heart Valve Society and helped the charity deliver educational meetings throughout the UK. He is also the secretariat for the British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and performs a similar role for this charity.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys going to the gym and listening to his ‘electronic’ music.

Kerry Cook

Prior to joining NSHI in September 2023, Kerry was a Senior Project Manager and National Sales Manager in pharmaceutical and Medical device industries, implementing and developing sales and project strategies across the UK and Europe. Focused on driving business development through multi-channel and traditional platforms, and bringing tailor made training solutions to our customers and growth of those relationships.

Outside of work Kerry spends her time with my friends and family, cooking, watching rugby and  trying out new wines.

Samantha Beswick

Prior to joining NSHI in December 2006, Sam worked in a renal dialysis service, initially as a purchaser before becoming the scheduler for the busy technical services team.

Sam’s role within NSHI has developed from one of the scheduling team to becoming solely responsible for all client and internal reporting. Sam has a keen eye for detail and accurately manages thousands of lines of data on an ongoing basis. Her reports ensure both clients and internal stakeholders are informed and kept up to date with activity and outcomes.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys baking and attending a weekly quiz with a team that have been together for over 20 years and have notched up a few wins along the way.

Teena Carter

Prior to joining NSHI in 2017, Teena trained in Cape Town as a general nurse before moving into selling Capital equipment, various implants and disposables. On returning home to England 23 years ago, Teena gained experience in the pharmaceutical sales industry, and supporting mental health services. These experiences provide Teena with an in depth knowledge of several health economies and engaging with customers at different levels within the NHS.

Teena’s free time is spent exploring the waters of Norfolk on her paddle board, enjoying family time and being creative in the kitchen. Teena also enjoys working with wool, fabrics and yarns – but not at the same time!

Susan Stewart

Sue has been a registered nurse for over 40 years and has gained a wide range of experience from hospital wards, midwifery and clinical research; both as a nurse and manager. Sue progressed to an independent prescriber in General Practice and has extensive knowledge of primary care including chronic diseases, women’s health and triage.

The flexibility and knowledge gained from previous roles has given Sue the tools to understand business needs as well as her team’s. Over the past 15+ years, Sue has consistently delivered successful services in diabetes, respiratory, spirometry, immunisations and headache for NSHI.

Free time is a mixture of time spent with family and friends either walking, gardening, shopping, theatre, holidays, weekends away and when diary permits ladies at lunch!

Senior Nurse Manager

Rebecca Cox

Prior to joining NSHI in 2016, Rebecca spent 20 years working in both primary care and the private sector. This involved managing and leading nursing teams, providing education and mentorship and managing patients with chronic disease.

Since joining NSHI. Rebecca has worked through the company progression pathway from Nurse Advisor to Senior Nurse Advisor before being promoted to Nurse Manager. Rebecca has a proven track record working collaboratively with clients, peers, and team members on a variety respiratory projects.

Having spent most weekends (for many years) cheering on her two sons from the sides of countless football pitches, Becky’s free time is now spent in the warmth, enjoying fine food and the odd glass of wine.

Kimberley Bowles

Kimberley joined NSHI as a Respiratory Nurse Advisor in 2020 before becoming a Nurse Manager in 2022. Prior to joining NSHI, Kim worked within the NHS in both primary and secondary care, with a focus on respiratory medicine and acute care.

Kim is passionate about innovating ways of working and improving patient services.

When Kim isn’t at work, she can be found walking her dogs on the beach, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Senior Nurse Manager

Rebecca Mutlow

Rebecca qualified as a nurse in 2001 and has worked in both primary care and Cambridge University Hospitals where she specialised in respiratory medicine.

Throughout her nursing career, she has worked in variety of therapy areas at a senior level, working well under pressure, mentoring junior staff and accruing a foundation of medical knowledge.

In 2017 Rebecca joined NSHI as a Nurse Advisor and has since developed her career to become a Nurse Manager who leads a team of specialised Nurses Advisors and works closely with a number of ICB’s to deliver gold standard respiratory care.

Outside of work Beck’s has a black belt in martial arts, is a keen motorcyclist and an amateur triathlete.

Nicola Edgar

Nicola has been with NSHI for 15 years, working across several therapy areas including diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory. Nicola brings a wealth of experience to the management team having developed her nurse advisor skills through NSHI progression pathway, securing her position of Nurse Manger in 2022.

Prior to working with NSHI, Nicola worked in coronary care and latterly as a practice nurse with special interest in diabetes and initiation of insulin.

Away from work, Nicola enjoys travel, walking the hills and glens and spending time with family and friends.

Sonia Greenwood

Prior to joining NSHI in 2023 Sonia had worked in the NHS for 38 years. Sonia has worked in both primary and secondary care as a lead asthma nurse as well spending 4 years in respiratory research where she became a co-author on several publications.

Sonia has achieved her independent prescribing and teaching qualifications. Sonia believes that the best way to ensure patients get the best care possible is to educate the next generation of health care professionals so that they can work to their best ability. Sonia’s wide clinical and managerial experience will ensure NSHI nurse advisors deliver optimum outcomes and excellent customer satisfaction.

In her spare time Sonia enjoys, walking in The Peaks, running and spending time with her family and friends.

National Training Manager

Sue Meehan

Prior to joining NSHI in 2014, Sue worked as a Senior Lecturer in Respiratory Education. She also has extensive nursing experience in secondary and primary care.

In 2022, Sue was promoted to National Training Manager and is responsible for keeping NSHI’s clinical team updated with current guidelines and research in respiratory medicine. Sue has also developed and launched the NSHI Academy which offers RCN Accredited COPD and Asthma courses and Spirometry Training to NHS customers.

In her free time, Sue enjoys watching football and is an avid Liverpool supporter and has recently discovered the joys of going to Disney with her Grandchildren, where she prefers to watch them on the rides rather than going on them herself!

Prior to joining NSHI’s HR Department in 2012, Ann-Marie worked in an HR capacity for the previous 20+ years in a wide variety of settings including retail, IT and charities. Ann-Marie is passionate about people and ensuring they are well looked after during their time with NSHI.

Free time is spent supporting the local Swaffham FC, especially the after-match celebrations, or commiserations…and a lovely walk around the golf course spoilt by having to hit a tiny little ball around.

Having a close family along several coast lines is perfect as an added bonus, I get to see those more than others living in the suburbs…I wonder why!

Jo Howell

Joining NSHI in March 2023, Jo brings a wealth of administrative experience from across a variety of business sectors.

Jo’s role as HR Advisor will focus primarily on recruiting new talent to the business, alongside supporting the effective and efficient operation of the Human Resourcing function.

Jo’s spare time is spent with friends or family, or renovating her narrowboat and enjoying the beautiful British waterways whenever she gets the chance!

Amy joined NSHI in February 2022 as part of the Client Communications team, bringing a variety of experience across a range of sectors and business areas. Amy has now joined the HR and Support Services Team, assisting and supporting the HR, Finance, Fleet and IT departments.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, gardening and long walks in the Norfolk countryside.

Jan Henry

Jan joined NSHI in 2011, initially to assist with HR, Finance, Fleet and other administrative duties as and when required.

NSHI has and continues to grow year on year resulting in increasing workloads for all departments. As a direct result of this growth, in 2012 the company recruited HR and Fleet administrators which enabled Jan to concentrate all her efforts on NSHI Finance. Jan was promoted to Finance Manager in March 2016 and has since been joined by another member of staff.

Outside of work, Jan enjoys reading and gardening but her passion is her family and the time spent with them.

Lauren started her NSHI career in the scheduling department in 2016. In 2018, the opportunity arose to join the HR and Finance team where Lauren has built considerable knowledge and experience in these areas, leading to her appointment as Assistant Finance Manager in 2020.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys long walks with her dog, tap dancing and going out for food and drinks with friends.

Jenny joined the growing Finance team in October 2023.

I have 3 sons who all play in different football teams, so I spend most of my evenings ferrying them around to training sessions! Plus, the weekends travelling around Norfolk, and sometimes further, for their games.

When not working I enjoy walking with my dog as well as enjoying going to concerts and watching films to relax.

Joanne Johnson

A corporate fleet manager with over 18 years’ experience, Joanne joined NSHI in 2012 and with their support, obtained her ICFM Diploma in Fleet Management and Strategy in 2014.

Jo’s experience delivers a firm transport strategy which supports NSHI’s field-based staff and puts health and safety at the core of the company’s fleet policies.

Jo is a mum of two boys and loves nothing more than spending time with them both. Jo is a also huge fan of Motor Racing, especially Formula One.

H&S and Compliance Manager

Linsey Morpeth

Following a 25-year career with Sainsbury’s, managing their Online Delivery Department, Linsey joined NSHI in 2018 as the Office Manager, leading NSHI’s scheduling team.

In 2024 Linsey moved to her current role as Health, Safety & Compliance  Manager ensuring NSHI is compliant and supporting the safety of all its employees. Linsey also supports the business through Project Managing key business change projects, as well as assisting with the implementation and delivery of new services and initiatives.

In her spare time Linsey enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, helping her partner with the family farm and showing their vintage tractors.

Client Communication Centre Manager

Melissa Grass

Melissa joined NSHI in January 2019 as part of the newly formed Patient Support Service. Melissa’s extensive leadership knowledge from the customer care sector enabled her progress to team leader and then team manager within a short space of time. She has led the team to improve patient outcomes by providing direction and support, resulting in optimum patient care for patients with either respiratory conditions or obstructive sleep apnoea. Melissa’s mission is to ensure the team have the patient at the heart of everything they do.

In her spare time, Mel enjoys travel, horse riding, keeping fit and spending time with family and friends.
